Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at UBC 2027 | Fully Funded Master's Scholarship

Applicants must: Be a citizen or refugee of an African country. Have completed a Bachelor's degree. Not already hold a Master's degree. Be 35 years old or younger at the time of application. Apply for one of the eligible Master's programmes. Meet the minimum academic requirements of the selected UBC programme. Meet UBC's English-language requirements where applicable.

The scholarship covers: 🎓 Tuition and books ✈️ Flights and immigration support 🏠 Room and board 💰 Living-expense stipends 🏥 Health insurance 💼 Career services and support 🌍 Access to the global Mastercard Foundation alumni network 🚀 Social Entrepreneurship Fund for eligible scholars interested in launching ventures in Africa

Stage 1: Submit an Expression of Interest by September 6, 2026. Stage 2: Eligible candidates are invited to complete the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program application between September 15–30, 2026. Stage 3: Successful candidates are invited to apply to their chosen UBC Faculty between November 1–20, 2026. Late faculty applications aren't considered.
